Carrier Sheet

Graphtec carrier sheets are one sided tacky, developed to hold down material for “cut through” applications in order to preserve blade life and avoid damage to the cutting plotter’s teflon cutting strip.

Carrier sheet must be used when cutting all the way through media when your cutting plotter is NOT EQUIPPED for PERF CUTTING*.

Cutting all the way through media without using the carrier sheet or Perf Cutting* Feature will damage your blade and cutting plotter. Always use the Test Cut feature of your cutting plotter to ensure cutting depth.

*PERF CUTTING only applies to the following cutting plotters series: FC8000, FC7000 MK2 and FC7000 series of cutters.

The purpose of the carrier sheet is to carry medias without backing and undersized medias.  The sticky/tacky surface of a carrier sheet holds down the media during cutting process keeping it in place and prevents the machine from jamming the media.  Carrier sheet should be covered when it is not in use.  Fibrous medias are not recommended for use with carrier sheet as some fibers may remain on the surface - reducing the life and effectiveness of the carrier sheet.
