HIGH VOLTAGE / HIGH SPEED 8-CHANNEL PORTABLE DATA LOGGER

 
 

Graphtec simplifies data acquisition into a handheld portable data acquisition instrument with this high speed datalogger that maxes out at 100KS/s for each channels and reaches 500VDC/VAC in input measurement.  GL900 reaches its pinnacle for handy portable datalogger with user friendly interface and its ability to network data and stream real time onto PC. 


SIMULTANOUS SAMPLING ALLOWS 100KS/S SAMPLING FOR ALL 8-CHANNELS

Eight 16-bit analog digital converter working simultaneously allows a maximum 100KS/sec. sampling speed for all 8-channels.  This allows high voltage transient monitoring, dynamic moving voltage signals from air flow meter, pressure transducer, tachometer, laser IR, torque sensor, and various other sensors with converted voltage output.

We also implemented an external triggering mechanism to use certain threshold voltage as a means to start and stop recording to efficiently make sure of the memory space available for the fast recording purposes.

Along with the carefully designed hardware component, software filtering mechanism allow a cutoff frequency in certain low pass filtering mechanism for 1.5 Hz (LINE), 50, and 500 Hz intervals.  Attenuation levels of -3dB (-5.2 to -1.4 db) / 6dB oct is capable with the filtering mechanism.

SPEED AND FLEXIBITY

The GL900 supports three different memory types.  Each is used depending upon the amount of recorded data that is needed and the speed that data must be acquired.  Built-in 64 MB of RAM is the fastest and supports all the GL900's sample intervals, from 10 us to 60 seconds.  GL900 also provides 256 MB of internal, non-volatile flash memory.  Data stored here is retained even if power is removed from the GL900.  If you need an even larger non-volatile memory, GL900 supports an external USB flash drive connected to its USB port.  Memories of any size are supported to a maximum file size of 2 GB. Both internal and external non-volatile memory support a maximum sampling interval of 1 ms.


DATA CAPTURED AND EASILY TRANSFERRED TO PC WITH USB STICK

Long-term data can be captured directly to built-in 256-MB flash memory or to an external USB memory stick at sampling intervals of from 1 ms to 1 min. For high-speed sampling at intervals faster than 1 ms, up to one million data points can be captured to internal RAM.

The USB memory stick must be a standard model (without fingerprint recognition or other proprietary features).


X-Y RECORDER ELIGIBILITY

GL900 reproduces analog X-Y recorder movements and provides the illusion of pen up/pen down movements.  It operates like an analog X-Y recorder and can also be used as a 4-pen X-Y recorder. The digital data format facilitates post-measurement confirmation of data values and report creation.


HIGH PRECISION TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT EVEN DURING HIGH-SPEED SAMPLING

Using a combination of trigger and timer functions eliminates superfluous data and enables capturing of only the required data.

HIGH-VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT CAPABILITY

 

The wide 500 V range enables 100 to 240 VAC power supply voltage waveform measurements. Using logic input and a clamp meter simultaneously allows measurement of a device’s power supply voltage and current concurrently with sequential control of various points.


BUILT-IN, LARGE-FORMATE 5.7-INCH COLOR LCD AND KEYBOARD

 

 

The bright, easy-to-read large-format 5.7-inch color TFT LCD provides a vivid, easy-to-read waveform displays.  Cursor keys enable fast, easy control and setup. The waveform display can be scrolled at high-speed – 10 ms/DIV.

FREE RUNNING DISPLAY FOR WAVEFORM-CHECKING WITHOUT THE NEED FOR DATA CAPTURE

 

 

The Free Running display lets users check input signal waveforms even before measurements begin. Since waveforms are displayed on each setup screen, users can make settings while viewing the waveforms.


REMOTE MONITORING VIA ETHERNET WEB SERVER AND FTP FUNCTIONS VIA USB STICK

USB and Ethernet connections enable transfer of captured data to your PC.

Web server/FTP server functions

Waveform display and GL900 setup operations can be performed via a web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer). In addition, data files captured to the GL900’s internal memory or to a USB memory stick can be transferred or deleted from the PC.

USB drive mode

When your GL900 is connected to your PC via the USB interface, the GL900 can be operated in USB mode to enable fast, easy data transfers from internal memory to the PC.

NTP client function

Simply connect the GL900 to an NTP server via an Ethernet connection to synchronize GL900 time with NTP server time at periodic intervals
